Road map to clear HBsAG ?

Dear all,

I have been chronic hepb for years now but never taken any medicine,  my hbvdna was always very low/ undetectable and liver function tests were always normal. I came back recently to this forum and read quite a few interesting posts.  I have done new tests and tried to summaries the knowledge I gain to form a plan of action , below are my  tests results with/followed  by questions :

HBVDNA  98 iu/ml

hbsag 992 S/CO  (unfortunately I was not able to find any facility in UAE who can provide this in iu/ml , can I at least use this as a reference to know if my HBsag are increasing or decreasing ? there is one hospital that have the right abbot architect but unfortunately they don’t have the necessary materials to perform the test.

HbsAb:  2.0 mIU/mL    ( lab report this as non-reactive)
HbeAg  ; negative
HBeAB : positive
HBc total  : reactive
ALT, AST ,Bilirubin and all liver functions are within normal range
Ultra sound :  normal liver , have not done firbroscan and needs your advice to know if one is needed.

Genotype : not done and need your advice to know if needed.

Vit D( 25 Oh)  21.2 ng/ml
Calcium  10mg/dl   ( high end is 10.4 , have a diet rich with dairy products)
Phosphorus  2.48 mg/dl  (low , normal range 2.5-4.5)

The main question I have now , what possible things I can do to increase my chances of clearing the HBsAg using natural food, supplements (have started 10,000 iu D3 daily) and/or medicines that will not have side effects or possibly cause negative immune response.

Should I change my diet to eliminate dairy products fearing calcium becoming too high ? how often should I test calcium ?

Many thanks.

Just to confirm , my hbsag result are in S/CO and not in iu/ml. ,  can i still use it to monitor if the count is going up or down ? Ill be going to the same lab hoping they use the same method every time.

1 obviously yes
2 no
3 fibroscan once a year and US are a must for every hbv carrier
4 only sequential treatment has shown to clear hbv.vit d helps in general all health and response to treatment
zadaxin is of no help.only when hbsag is cleared it may be used if hbsab remains <10miu/ml but also hbv vaccine can help with this

Thanks stef,

You have also answered my other question regarding the d3 supplement i'm taking so by reading both answeres i can conclude that it is safe to keep eating farm made cheese soaked with olive oils :)

Can you please also help me with the other questions :

1-  can i use my HbsAg test to know if its going up or down ? Please read my above post for clarity.

2- is there any significance about having a hbsab of 2iu/ml ?

3- given my above results do i need to do fibroscan ? Genotype ?

4- beside d3 , what other things i can try to get rid of the virus? , i remember you recommended zadaxin once ? What about certain food ? Other supplements ?

calcium is normal and will not get higher than 10.4 but avoiding diaries is a good thing because they are very very unhealthy, unless you produce it or it is a small organic production the milk is full of antibiotics/hormones given to the animals plus the animals are fed with extremely low quality food

using d3plus with vit k will lower your calcium if you like or you simply buy vit k (mk-7 type which is the natural type) 1000mcg per day is a good dose.it has no toxicity at any dose (i mean the natural type)
