upper pain in right side..

I was reading thru the recent threads and came across someone who had HBV and was feeling pain on their left side... Obviously as the liver is on the right side, does anybody ever get pains there? Occasionally when i am really stressed or tired i feel liver aches... Not too bad but definately aches... Is this common with HBV sufferers?

Hey guys,

Does anyone else experience this pain?  I have been getting it for the past 2 months. Not too long after my ALT jumped from 20 to 82. My Doctor is doing some tests and thinks that my liver is inflamed.

I am a Chronic Hepatitis B carrier. My ALT and HBVDNA have always been within normal range. Although 3 months ago ALT went from 20 to 82.

Thanks!

I get a lot of URQ sensations.  Whether or not its the liver or not is anyone's guess.  The liver itself has no nerve endings.  It is, however, encapsulated with a membrane that does have nerve endings.  So if the liver is inflamed it can stretch that membrane.  But, there are other things in the URQ...gall bladder, intestines...you can feel digestive discomfort there too.
