Is an avacado enough fat?

The literature shows 30 grams of fat in one medium avacado.  It's hard to believe so I'm concerned if it's right for the incivek.  I am not liking all the cheese and ice cream I'm eating.  I can do 3 avacados a day, not as tasty but healthier and less calories then other options.

Yeah. You guys are making me hungry. I make such boring shakes. I'm gonna have to try it this weekend. Avocado is one of those you can get to fast also. Slice it up n squirt some lime juice. It's NEVER too heavy. Karen :)

what if u make a smoothie; 1/2 avocado, 6 Tbl. vanilla yogurt,  3 oz milk or soy milk and one tbl or peanut butter or other nut butter. the taste of avocado will go away but will make thick.. add an ice cube or 2 and even a half banana for more flavor. i urge u to experiment with smoothie recipes adding nut butters and avocado. easy to manage and healthy. good luck, babs

20 grams of fat is 20 grams of fat, no matter how you add it up.  The only right thing with Incivek is making sure each dose is taken with the required amount of fat grams.  How the patient manages that is strickly up to them.
