Advice and chances for the following incident:

I tried asking this question to the Doctors but the forum is closed.
i want advice for the following two incidents:
1. There is a little toy in our house and our house is frequented by a lot of hepatitic patients, i accidently cut myself at two places with this toy, resulting in two cuts which both bled a little.what are the chances of infection especially hepatitis?
2. in the second incidence i used the public bathroom(the jetspray used is used by hepatitic patients) and idioticallydid not was my hands and proceeded to put my hand in my mouth to remove a food partcile in my mouth only realising it a minute later.
in both cases what are the chances for hiv ,hepatits B and hepatitis C?

Hi and yes I did consider both scenarios.    I can't tell you to forget getting tested as that should be your choice.  What I will say if it were me, I would not be concerned at all.   Zero!
Should you be worried then I would advise you to get tested.  The following 2 cases that you represented, would not be risk factors for acquiring the virus.
Many people ask these same questions you've expressed on a daily basis so I do understand.  If I felt you were in danger I would tell you.
You tho are the one that has to live with your decisions so it may help to ease your mind getting tested.    Do believe its a good thing to be aware of putting yourself at risk in all situations in life.
Be well

My honest answer would be you have slim to none chance of contracting the Hep C virus.   You have to look at at it logically.   This is a blood to blood contact.
Just to give you an example of how hard this is to contract, I was married for 20 years, had 2 children, and didn't know I had the virus.  No one in my family has it even during childbirth.
If your overly concerned get tested.  They now have a cure.
In my humble opinion think you have a better chance of getting a disease just stepping foot in a hospital.  Would not worry if I were you.
Good luck
