HIGH TRANSAMINASAS AFTER 14 WEEK OF TRIPLE THERAPY

Hi everyone, I have one serious doubt. Here is my situation. I started Telaprevir Pegintron&Rebetol on May 23. 2012.
I was negative after 8 weeks, and after 12 weeks my PCR showed under the limit of detectability i.e. <15  units, which is considered a negative. So I continued Pegintron and Rebetol  to complete 48 weeks. I am geno 1, and previously treated in 2007 with Pegasys and Ribavirin. Than I was negative at six months, but positive at the end of therapy. Now I have begining of chirrosis.
Now I am concerned about the fact, that my yesterday blood test showed  AST 111 ,,and ALT 95 ggt is 34, total bilirubin 12. One month before , they were high also, around AST 62 and ALT 68, GGT 47, ALP90, and Bilirubin 14, so all the other indicators for liver are better now, except transaminasas. I am afraid that it made  a breakethrough,. I have to mention that I have been taking medications for asthma and alergies in a past month, so could it be a reason for raising of transaminasas? Also I would like , somebody to answer me, if is it possible, that transaminasas rise during treatment, for some reason , but you are negative.. Tell me please if somebody has experience , or opinion of such situation. You understand my concern.
Thank you for your answers in advance!

I agree with FiGuy,there are an abundance of situations where the liver enzymes can rise.

There have been many cases where the enzymes have risen during treatment and were normal before starting and vice versa. Also I have seen many here resport that the enzymes have risen post tx. and a  subsequent PCR still show UND.

If you are concerned I would suggest another PCR to ascertain if there is indeed been a relapse ,however unlikely.

If not ,then there would be other tests for your doctor to run to get to the bottom of elevated  enzymes.

Good luck,,,

Many people on treatment never have AST/ALT in the normal range during treatment.  Ignore AST/ALT you can do anything about it anyway.  The viral load is THE thing.
