There are none at UCSF. Biopsy is the standard for measuring liver disease in the gastroenterology and liver transplant clinics as far as I know.
The only other option I imagine would be the one other liver transplant program in Northern California, CPMC -California Pacific Medical Center.

When I asked my hepatologist at Stanford whether they offer fibroscans he said no, but they offer MRI elastography. It sounds like it is a similar process, if not the same thing.
