A normal result would be none.

The qualitative HCV RNA test detects the presence of hepatitis C virus (HCV) circulating in the blood.

A “detected” result indicates the presence of HCV RNA and is consistent with active infection. A “not detected” result, on the other hand, is consistent with the absence of HCV RNA or with HCV RNA levels below the detectable limit of the assay.

Basically, if you have any hepatitis c virus RNA circulation in your blood you have Hepatitis C. You need to follow up with either your Dr or a gastroenterologist to monitor you condition to determine if you have liver damage from the virus. Also to prescribe medicines to treat Hep C and hopefully eradicate the virus for you body.

Good luck
