Hi tiff, I expect diet may change depending on the state of your liver. The site has some good info on hep c including diet.

I have also seen a number of posts and articles aout grapefruit blocking hep c and reducing viral load.

Unfortunately, if you are on other meds, grapefruit may also prevent those from being effective so you should check on this. You should not eat grapefruit while treating.
i am in a clinical trial. i was on a triple therapy for 24 weeks. now i'm on soc. my study nurse told me on sushi or grapefruit is allowed while in the trial. take care. belle
I have, through my own experience, found that eating a whole foods diet is the best. Try and eat fresh fruit and vegetables, stay away from foods that are processed and are full of preservatives. Drink lots of water to stay hydrated, and I've heard vitamin D is helpful, I just started so I will see how it works for me.
I have been very lucky over the last 30+ yrs to still be in fairly good health, I would like to attribute that to a healthy living life style. I always read the ingredients in the food I buy, and try never to buy things with preservatives of any kind. I stay away from white sugar, high glucose fruitcose syrups.
Finding foods that work can be very individual, Good Luck!
i meant " no" sushi or grapefruit...
