I'm hep c positive ,from 1980s .married for 30years . Did not infect my wife yet .
I would be more concerned about contracting other diseases then Hep C. If your in a committed healthy relationship and you've both been checked out, no worries. In today's society you need to protect yourself from STDs that have no cure.

Hepatitis C can be sexually transmitted but is not a STD. If you are practicing risky behavior the possibility is increased.
If you are concerned about having sex with your girlfriend than use protection.
