I ditto the comments. Get tested to know for sure.

Yes the more sex, including riskier sex increases chances of Everything that can be caught from sex no matter how rare
Took a look at your past posts. Where sex isn't a good transmitter of Hepatitis C.....Risky sex gives you an increased chance of getting Hepatitis C.
with fee side effect = with few side effects
Sorry typo that maybe confusing
If you do have Hepatitis C....tell your wife to go get tested. If Hepatitis C was that easy to get from sex.....you might have got it from her. It simple isn't easy to get hepatitis C from sex. Many people don't know where they got hepatitis C. If you are a babyboomer your exposures to hepatitis C could have been many different ways. Many babyboomers have hepatitis C and don't know it.
Let us know the outcome of your test. If you do have hepatitis C there is treatment now with fee side effects.
Lichen planus can be from many things. However, along with high bilirubin, it may point to hepatitis C. Only a hepatitis panel will tell for sure. Hep C is not considered a sexually transmitted disease. Although it can happen, we do not have good stats on the incidence. It is more likely that it is passed sexually from a man to a woman than the other way around just because of the way women are built.
I'm afraid you are in a tough spot with your wife until your test results come back. Wishing you a negative test.
