Thanks everybody, yeah it seems like I was not the only one wondering, thanks for the help.
i wondered myself, thanks for asking.-Dave
Yes, tx, treatment, bx, biopsy. Glad you asked.
I just went to the Janis and Friends website and that is bookmarked as well, thank you so much for pointing that out to me.
I don't see the link, but it is really late here, I think that I need to go to sleep, can barley keep my eyes open. I am sure I will see it tomorrow.
thanks so much!
Johnny
Yeah, I just meant to bookmark it somewhere. Have you looked through Janis and Friends as well? Bookmark this one, too:
http://janis7hepc.com/
look through the items listed in the right hand margin under ‘other HCV information’; this site is very informational.
Take care—
Bill
Hi Bill,
Thanks so much for your help. I am still trying to learn the site. I could not find the favorites on the site(if that is what you meant), so I just book marked it in firefox.
Thanks for clearing this up for me, as now I know that tx most likely means treatment.
Thanks for the welcome, it is a great site, everybody is so nice and helpful to me`-`
Thanks for the help,
Johnny
Hi Jonny,
Tx can stand for treatment, and sometimes transplant. Most of the time in here, it stands for the interferon/ribavirin treatment, unless otherwise specified. Here’s a page that helps explain the alphabet soup of acronyms used in here:

This page is also available in the lower right-hand margin of this page, in the box titled ‘most viewed health pages’. Try saving this to favorites or hard drive. Welcome to the discussion group, by the way—
