Hep c and male yeast infections

Approximately one month after i was exposed to hep c virus, i was infected with a crotch infection that turned out to be yeast. After several doctors, one diagnosed it as yeast and prescribed difluconazole  for fourteen days. The vicious infection dissipated but has become recurrent every four or five months. Does anyone else experience male yeast infections that also has hep c?

Yes, I was diagnosed by UM in Miami.
The infection actually showed up about two months after my colonoscopy and exposure.
During extensive searching, i located numerous positive Hep C patients that complain of recurrent yeast infections. I never had this before becoming infected and the timing is just too coincidental to be ignored. No new medications, same ones I took for years.

Were you actually diagnosed with hepatitis C? Or just exposed? If you were not diagnosed, you need to take blood test to confirm presence of disease or to rule it out.

Yeast infection that recurs in general means that your immunity is low. Do you take any medications that can compromise your immunity? Your doctor needs to get to the bottom of this. Hepatitis C, especially just one month after exposure, is not associated with yeast infections.
