Hello. I was picking up some furniture that I had purchased from a house. The piece had veneer pin nails sticking out from when the person had dismantled it. When putting the piece in my vehicle with the other person I accidentally scratched my hand on one of the pin nails. The concern is that the person may also have caught their hand on the nail before me due to it sticking out. The scratch on my hand was only the first layer of skin, and although a tad sore at the time you could say it was superficial and there was no blood. I wonder if you could get hepatitis from such a superficial scratch/ graze (first layer of skin, no bleeding) from something like a nail. I suspect not, but thought I'd ask as internet throws up an array of confusing info. Thank you for taking the time to read my post. I suspect the answer may help other readers too.
