high ALT

My ALT remains high--120 IU. I am two time relapser.Presently off tx. Should I restart TX as this persistently high ALT means ongoing damage to hepatocytes? Will it be two late if I wait for 3-4 years for the newer tx.

If I remember correctly, you have stage 3 fibrosis and have had several unsuccessful treatments. Please correct me, if I'm wrong. I cannot remember your genotype.

I think that you and your doctor need to come up with a new plan in treating you, as treating the same way you did before will not make a difference.

There are many relapsers on this forum, who might be able to sahre their experience with you and give you some sound advise.

also, not just get proactive with taking the right stuff...but be sure and reevaluate all your meds...and use nothing recreational...think preventative and go to clinical trials web site
plua call your local hospital to get into trials for new drugs if you want them sooner.

What stage/grade?  See my profile for supplements that may help (HRs' Liver Lover regimen) After 6 mos on it, my LFTs' were nearly normal.
