For having hepatitis c, am I conteguos

for having a hepatitis c, does this mean that I can easily infect people around me?  I work with people (educational job), no contact with blood.

I agree with the above posts. Your blood has to get into the blood stream of another person in order for you to infect them.

No, you can't infect people easily unless you exchange blood with them. I taught first grade for years and I also have 2 kids who grew up before I knew I was infected. My family members are negative.
