thanks all....I realize now that the end is near....hopefully it will be a good ending ;)
My NP just told me that she is counting 24 weeks from March 13 to do my blood test for SVR which she said would be Aug 28.

Your NP is correct. You should be counting in weeks, not months.
I had a pcr at eot, 12 weeks and will have one at 24 weeks.
Good job, Will, I knew you'd come along with the facts.
I'm wondering if mine are different because I am on a trial? Doesn't really matter, now that we know the official SVR protocol.
As always, thanks!
24 weeks is the official SVR per protocol, however 12 weeks is 99.6% predictive now Ginger..( Below)
Best to you..
Will

It seems to me that the old Peg/Riba was 6 months after treatment but with the new PI's it has been changed to 24 weeks.
Maybe it was changed to standardize all times to weeks rather than some in weeks and others in months...
Chris
I hope someone comes along with more knowledge about this, I'm rather a newbie, but it sure doesn't sound right. I'll be anxious to see what others say. My trial is more often than that after tx.
Hi GINGERPAL, I'm one month into triple treatment myself with Victrillis. I'm a relapser. 3 yrs. ago I failed double treatment; interferon and ribaviron. They did blood work to test for SVR one month, 3 months, and at 6 months. At 6 months the virus was back.
