12 week PCR UND

Hey guys and gals, Undetectable. That pretty much says it all! Haven't been around much lately but I do check in regular. Tx had me bed ridden for about 8 months and being self employed my work just piled up. Starting to get a handle on it now. I feel very well, am working hard, eating and sleeping well, am back on my bicycle every day. There are a couple of lingering sx, nothing major, some skin stuff and short term memory issues. I have always been absent minded but this is ridculous!
My VITALS
G1, bx grade1-stage3, infected 38 years, dx VL 216K, VL 283K after 4 weeks of ALINIA lead in. TX with INF/1200mg RIBA/ 1000mg ALINIA--UND @ 2 weeks--dropped RIBA at week 25, continued with INF/ALINA to week 36 then tapered for 4 weeks(1/2, 1/4, 1/8, 1/16 IFN, also tapered ALINIA somewhat) started feeling much better as soon as I droped the RIBA. Things are looking up, better start getting ready for the NEXT train wreck in my life:)   jerry

Congrats, Jerry! And you did tx in such a customized way.

I found my memory got worse on tx and then right after finishing, I was amazed that I'd effortlessly remember things I somehow didn't expect to remember. The words would pop into my brain just like that, without even begging them to. Nice but sadly temporary.

Glad to hear you're back on your bike. I still haven't got back on mine but now you've motivated me to tune it up this weekend. I have a bike rack for my car that I wish I could remember how to use. And where did I put the bolt last summer?

All the very best,

PA
