Very Light brown coloured stool with urq discomfort?

Hi I have been experience urq discomfort for a couple of months now. Also accompanied by fatigue. It seemed to all start with my diet and since then I have had to cut sugar, fats and any unhealthy sort of food as this seems to make the discomfort worse.

I had some unrelated health issues earlier on in the year which led me to undergo a chest abdomen and pelvis CT scan in March 2017 which they said all organs including liver looked fine. Also all my blood work was good at the time.

Since this urq discomfort in the last couple of months, the last few days my stool has been a normal consistency but lacking in brown colour. It looks light brown to yellowish. Sinks to the bottom and does not float. My urine colour is normal and not dark. I do not have yellowing of the skin or eyes.

It would seem just some fatigue, light coloured stools and this fairly constant urq discomfort that leaves me somewhat intolerant to certain foods etc

Does anyone have any idea or useful info that might help? I have an appt booked but am quite worried and would like it if someone could shed some light on my symptoms.

Thanks

You have posted your question in the hepatitis c community. Do you believe you are infected with the hep c virus?

Hep c is a blood borne virus and in general difficult to contract. Also the majority of people with hep c have no symptoms which is why it is called a silent illness.

I had hep c for 37 years and liver cirrhosis for over 9 years and have no real noticible symptoms except some lower leg swelling. I have never had jaundice or URQ pain as you have described.

I suggest continuing to work with your doctors to determine the cause of your symptoms but I doubt at this point is has anything to do with your liver.

Have you had any blood testing like a liver panel? Do you have elevated liver enzymes (ALT or AST) that could be a symptom of something irritating your liver.

Best of luck
