Rock on SLDB!!!!
I'm a stage 4 at about the same place in SVR land - actually three years and a month or so now that I think about it. Great news - it's slow going, but this is supposed to happen. My heppo said to take the long term view - he would expect me to be healthier at 5 years post tham I was at 5 mos. I was like whoooo-hooooo!! How many 47 year olds can expect to be healthier in 5 years than they are today??
Congrat's on your good news... I am wondering how many people get post biopsy?
So glad your gall-bladder surgery went well -- and good news on the liver to boot!
Congratulations are due all around... stone-free, virus-free, cirrhosis-free... a whole basketful of joy! Thanks so much for posting... gives real hope to treating cirrhotics that there is something other than esld to look forward to!
Three cheers, and best wishes!

congratulations and good luck with your surgery recovery. You must have a thorough medical team: testing bx tissue for hcv doesn't seem to happen much in a clinical setting. It would be interesting to know how they checked (staining or pcr). And, three cheers for fibrosis reversal!
Wonderful! I'm so happy for you.
And sorry that you had to have the operation. I hope all went well and you are recuperating well.
As another stage 4, that is GREAT news....SVR and liver improvement. This gives me lots of hope and encouargement........Pam
Congratulations!
Just the way we hope it will be.

I have a follow up appt in 2 wks , will get a copy of biopsy report then and post. Hep called b/c he knew i was anxious to see if any virus was left that wasnt detected by pcr. Ive been very concerned about occult infection due to the way this virus almost destroyed my liver and my life. Glad to post some good news for a change. Leah...
Fantastic! If it's not too much of a bother, could you copy and then post your biopsy report. Thanks. If you don't have the actual report, just ask for a copy. Something you should keep anyway.

This day just keeps getting better and better......
That certainly has to give hope to some of those who feel that it's too late to treat with advanced liver damage. Thank you for posting - what absolutely wonderful news for you!

Good luck!
Very interesting post-another example of cirrhosis reversal post treatment.
