Side affects after treatment is over.

Dear Doc:
Back in 2005 I was feeling really ug...I went to a couple of doctors and one said it was my gall bladder and another said Hep C.  After the 42 week Peg-Interferon shots in my stomach and the Ribatol pills, I still had the same symtoms as before all this.  During the treatment I started getting the body pain.  I was told that it was normal and the doctors gave me Tramadol.  In Nov 2006 I completed the therapy, 3 months after that when I went for a check up...the doctor said that this pain was supposed to quit after about 3 months.  Maybe this was medical info, or actual other patients but my pain NEVER stopped!  Today, altho, I have to take 4x50mg Tramadol per day.  Humana wont pay for the 200mg Ultram.
What am I to do...There are not many doctors who even believe me and they have absolutely no reason not to.  I keep going and hope I will find someone who care enough to find out why I still have this pain.  It does not strike the same place twice (except for when I bruise) and the stab/strike is random.
Is this a related problem or 2 different ones?

Dear Banarep:
Yeah unfortunately I had/have the Hep C.  I was on that treatment with the Peg-Interferon with Ribatol 48 weeks of hell and injecting myself in the stomach.  About August of 2006 I started getting the body pain.  I was given 50mg Tramadol.

I still have the pain even tho the doctors are saying that is not possible.
But yes the doctor in Virginia told me that I was Cured!.  Another doctor told me that there is no CURE you are in remission.  But now I am up to 4 x 50mgs tramadol a day.

I am only trying to find if there is someone in the same situation as me.

There are no doctors here. This is a forum for persons affect by hepatitis C. No one can diagnose you over the Internet. Only a doctor that knows your medical history and who can examine you can diagnose your problem and proscribe appropriate treatment.

Please seek medical help for your pain and medication issues.

Good luck.

not even sure what you are really asking.   did you have hep C or not?  if so, did the treatment clear you of the virus.
