I am somewhat in the same situation...just recently came off a trial due to less than acceptable results. Rather than you looking to join a trial again,as it has been three times unsuccessful for you,my thoughts are that you may be better off just waiting to treat once the new meds are released....especially since you are currently only stage 2 fibrosis. This would seem to afford you some time.

As you know....sometimes the trials can be somewhat regimented and restrictive ,not to mention the fact of possibly getting a placebo,

I would imagine you have thought of these things...just throwing a few things your way

  Again, good luck

thanks for comment &hope you do not mind my asking, is a liver transplant in your future?  Went to a liver wlk event once & there were many (color coded t-shirts) that had successful transplants & were thriving---good luck to you.

You aren't doing so bad for 30 years. It is progressing, it will always progress until you treat and become "cured." I've had Hep C for 30 -35 years and am at Stage 4 with Cirrhosis so it varies with the person. Don't worry you are doing the right thing by treating. These trial drugs are getting very good results. Best of luck.

Hi there...Are you a previous non -responder?  There are currently many folks here in trials and some  are past non -responders to SOC. I am not in a trial myselfl, just thought I would bump your post up.

Like all of us with HCV,.liver fibrosis progresses and how quickly or slowly is different in all people. If you are starting treatment again soon and are successful then the liver damage will be arrested or may even regress some,so not to worry too much about currently being stage2.

Good luck with your trial..
