eyes eyes eyes?

I saw a lot of eye comments today but I am bot sure if they answer my question really so here we go. My eyes feel heavy they have a pressure around them and they ache closing them doesn't really help it kinda feels worse then i feel like i need to cover them like It's not dark enough but I don't feel like the light is really bothering them when they're open. I really don't know how to explain this at all. They don't have a rash or anything like that and they don't itch well sometimes my eye feels itchy but my actual eye not the lid and It's very rare. But the pressure that's all the time now. Anyway don't really know what to do? I know most of you will say contact Dr but until I can do that and until they actually help what should I try? Thanks in advance, cas

i would ask your doctor...the interferon caused bleeding in back of my retinas...the docs compared before tx exam to 19 week exam and took me right off tx...but i had a stabbing stinging pain on and off in my eyes..you'll probably be fine..just get it checked out soon...good luck...billy

Hi Ninja,

Yep, you're right.  I'm gonna ask if you had a baseline eye exam right before tx, and then suggest that you go to your eye doc this week.  Eye pressure can be caused by several factors (migraine, hypertension, dryness, etc.) and these meds can also affect vision.  So you are doing the right thing about addressing this early on.

In the meantime.......you may want to try some Refresh Plus (artificial tears), as it will instantly 'cool' your eyes and hopefully make you more comfortable.  A cold compress might help.  Wear sunglasses and a hat if necessary.  Take some Advil or Tylenol to see if that helps.  Hoping this is just a temporary side and that you feel better soon.

Take care,

Bee
