Okay, was that a disco song from the 80's? ("I want the world to know, blah blah") I hear the dance tune and see the sparkling ball... I think I'm losing my mind, lol.
Not a question, just an update. Starting Wk 15 today, have been on Riba reduction for several weeks due to Hgb dropping. I hit an all-time low of 9.1 last week, the study I'm in doesn't allow rescue drugs so I've just had to sit with it. Started having pressure in my chest when walking briskly or climbing a steep incline, pretty scary. Of course, the fatigue and shortness of breath have been profound.
Had study visit on Wednesday, new Hgb level 9.7!! Hooray! Never thought I'd be so happy about that value! Next study visit is 2 weeks, so I'm going to PMD next week for Hgb check, so that if it's above 10 we can go ahead and increase the Riba.
My Hgb plunge began at wk 3 while on triple therapy, I came back up above 10 and pushed to get my Riba dose back to 1200 mg, then this new plunge began and it's been rough. But things are looking up! Thanks, all, for your support.
