Ribavirin week 3 results

Just got my end of week 3 Ribavirin added to TX CBC results.

HBG 9.3 (11.1-15.9 normal), RBC 3.03 (3.77-5.28 normal), HCT 29.0 (34.0-46.6 normal)

I see a dose reduction in my future

Yes I saw the info Hector posted about dose reduction.

I believe it was in regards to sovaldi/ riba for a different genotype. The Riba was just an add on to the Harvoni 24 week to give me my best shot at a cure. I might need that 1/2 a percent extra boost.

Currrent dose is 1200mg.

Unfortunatly it is the 600 mg pills 1 in the AM, 1 in the PM.

I am just so boring I don't feel much different.

See this is why I was very hesitant about the Riba as I had the same experience when I took it with interferon.

Oh yeah I am going to take every one till they tell me otherwise

Bit of a drag Lynn.  Must agree a Riba reduction is likely in the cards.  Unfortunately there is not alot of prior data with this duo.  Your better
off to not push the envelope and go along with the recommended
reduction.  On the plus side keep in mind the Ribas aggressive nature
to maintain its dominance in your system. That in itself should help ride
the wave all the way thru to SVR.
My best

What is your Riba dose right now? Yep they should reduce it, I would try to hang in there another week unless they have you at too high a dose right now. There was a post the other day about the very little if no difference in dose reduction, did you see that? How are you feeling? You will feel so much better once it us reduced.
