I can't seem to get it together ,,,, usually, I'm really strong minded. but this, this,,,, s c a r e s me to death..... thanks to all and hope ya all are doing better and better as the days go pass by us.... take care all and hugs & smiles too.
HCV treatment may cause someone who has issues with clinical depression currently or has had in their past to have these issues arise while treating as the drugs may exacerbate this.
However if you have not been diagnosed with clinical depression this added med may not be necessary.
It sounds like from your post possibly you have pretreatment anxiety and nervousness..rather than clinical depression. The two are entirely different and you may want to speak with your doctor about putting you on an anti-anxiety med currently and see how that goes ..rahter than start one of the Ad"s when you possibly may not need it.
Then when you start tx. if .there seems to be some depression issues arise as a result of the medication ,possibly speak to the doctor about it at that time.
Again ..always best to be advised by a doctor that is aware of your history....
Best.
