the treatments they have approved for hep C 1A are more effective then ever now. it is about 80% chance fo beating this. There are factors that could lower this percentage, the shape of your liver (if you are cirrhotic), if you have treated before and failed, but over all a good time to treat if you decide to.
how far are you into your diagnosis? have you had liver biopsy? What tests have you had done? it looks like you are pretty young, so unless you were born with it, chances are in your favor that there is not a lot of liver damage, it is a very slow moving disease. Are you seeing a hepatologist or a GI? What does your doctor say?
