Your already asked this same question on another post and you got some good advice. There are no doctors here and anything we say is just speculation.
Like the others said, the ONLY way to know if you had a breakthrough is with a PCR viral load test.
Good luck
Night sweats are no indication of viral breakthrough. The indication of viral breakthrough is a viral load test that says so. I'd say you have night sweats simply because of the effects of the drugs on your body. You're going to have a number of side effects as you go along and if you attribute each of them to viral breakthrough, you're going to be a bit of a mental mess.
Why did your doctor reduce your interferon and what Genotype are you? What have been the results of your viral load test so far - when you started treatment and whatever tests you've had since you started - and when is your next viral load test?
What determines continuing treatment is what your viral load is at specific points throughout treatment - that determines if the drugs are working adequately or not, that's why I'm asking.

Night sweats has nothing to do with your viral load.
Was your viral load already undetectable?
The only way to know what is happening with your viral load is to have a HCV Viral Load (HCV RNA test, Quantitative). If you are concerned ask your doc for a viral load test to be done at week 8.
Good luck.
