my son 10 years old has problem with stomach pain and vomtings.got checkup and HBSag-negative,
s.bilirubin(total)-1.7,s.bilirubin direct-1.0,SGPT/alt-1610U/L.plase analyse the results.
You should have your son seen by a doctor familiar with liver disease as soon as possible - a hepatologist or gastroenterologist. His direct bilirubin is significantly elevated as is his ALT. Both are specific liver markers and his numbers are highly suggestive of a liver problem. This could be due to a number of things but in the meantime I don't think I would use any Tylenol as there can be a toxicity associated with its use. Mike
