My husband passed away Oct 24, but it had nothing to do with the treatment. I really dont know what happened, other than the hospital telling me his red blood cells where not flowing thru his intestions good and it caused part of his intestions to  die and it made a hole and all the poison came out of them. I am in so much shock and still cant believe he will never be here with me again. I dont know any of you personally but when I would read your post I felt like I was a part of you. You helped me so much with all the information, and I wanted to tell everyone thank you.

From your description I believe your husband had intestinal ischemia. My father had this condition and wound up dying of sepsis. Not that it's any help to know, but I suppose any info is better than none. I am sorry you have to deal with this sad change in your life.

I can tell you were just as loving and supportive to your husband. Your husband felt the love and compassion you gave him and that is how he left knowing he was loved. I am so, so sorry for your loss. My sister lost her husband a little over a year ago now and she is still grieving badly. Do you have any children, or family that can be there for you? I certainly hope so!
