what stage

my husband recieved his results on his heptimax test. His number is 11.0 What stage do you think that puts him at?

'Stage' refers to the condition of the liver, specifically, the amount of fibrosis.  That evaluation is best evaluated as the result of a needle biopsy.  Less accurate and less invasive tests are also available.

Can you provide more info? The number 11 sounds strange in the context of HCV test results. Try looking for data that says “the LOG 10 value is _ _ _” or something like that. Often the results are expressed numerically, as well; “1,110,000” for instance. There are lots of people here that can help decipher results, just give us a little more info--
