I agree, you are one strong lady! So glad to hear the joy in your "voice" again and knowing you are waking up everyday and here enjoying this life to it's fullest. Karen :)
You sound like I used to when people said I was strong, I'd reply, " I only put one foot in front of the other."
Now, I know the truth. I AM strong, and so are YOU !!!
You all truly amaze me!!!Chemo was a rough road but if my cancer comes backI would open it with open arms> it took away 6 months of my life-not even wanting to get up out of bed on most days!!!
I a not a strong person but did what I had to do-there is still hope that we all have inside us.You do what you have to do to SURVIVE... love to you all
cindy
Cindy you are the strongest most amazing woman. I am so glad to see you are able to write to us! That is a good thing. Everyone here cares about you deeply and all of us send out most positive thoughts and prayers to you.

This is AWESOME news! I came across your story because a new member "bumped" your "goodbye" thread from March in the HepC Community. I checked your profile page, and was glad to see you're still around and kicking some cancer patootie! Best wishes, and keep fighting!
eyes ----- so very glad you are up and at it and so full of spunk. It has been a long haul for sure adn you have shown remarkable courage. You say the cancer metastisized to your bone (hip)??? Yuk. I am sure your doctors will watch this closely. the medical pot sounds like a life saver to me.
Hector is right -- our puny little 48 week (or less) treatment pales in light of what you have gone through..
My very best

So glad to hear that you're feeling better. Though I don't "know" you, I've read some of your posts and while I was on tx I felt like what I was dealing with was peanuts compared to your battle against cancer...
I send you all the best feelings and wish you good health and recovery.
It is so uplifting to read all the posts here now a days...all the SVR's and UND's...just wonderfull...happy tears for all of us. Especially for you.

ChemoSabe, next time someone posts and compares hepatitis C treatment to chemo and I tell them they are FOS (Full OF Stool)... you are the "go to gal". The voice of authority. I'm counting on you to give them a "reality check". You have a baseball bat, right? haha
(I have only had some locoregional transarterial infusion chemotherapy in my liver which was enough, thank you. And cancer excision-cutting out cancer tumors from inside my foot).
Chemo- Sux big time. What suxs worse is cancer.
Keep up the good work!!! I am glad you have some good doctors and medical staff helping you get through this.
