Sad News re: Eyes of Blue

I only recently discovered that another of our sweetest members, Eyes of Blue, passed away in late June. She only posted for a fairly short time back in late 2011 and early 2012 because soon after starting tx she developed lung problems that turned out to be lung cancer. That took priority over the HCV and she went through a lot of treatments trying to beat back the cancer. It was looking good for a while, but eventually the cancer won the battle. She was an angel, and still is.

I knew but it was just to sad for me to comment.
It was difficult for me too when I found out.

RIP dear one.

Ceanothus, thank you for posting this very sad news.
I hadn't heard anything from or about her in quite awhile and was just hoping  against hope she could beat the odds.

Cindy was very brave fighter and had started her lung cancer treatments shortly after learning of her cancer diagnosis while seeking medical care for her hepatitis C. She knew she was facing a tough battle yet carried on the way we all hope we would be able to do. Unfortunately certain types of cancer can be lethal even with the best of medical care and a patient who is strongest of fighters.
This is just one one example of cruel cancer taking another good person from the world.

My condolences to her family and friends.
I will miss her.
