Did I accidentally pass on herpes fooling around

I haven’t had sex with anyone but my most recent ex, since my ex and I began dating. Recently, I had been talking to a guy and we wound up at my place and having a few drinks. I was adamant about not having sex, as I usually like to get to know someone first before confiding. However, he was fairly quick, and after an intense makeout session we sort of.. “dry humped” for lack of a better term. I just can’t recall if it was with or without underwear on!! As I said this was after some drinks, and i outright refused full on sex. But as it is padded skin to skin I am now EXTREMELY concerned. Especially because I had just shaved, and although I didn’t see anything yesterday, today I was a bit itchy, and I can’t tell if it was shaving irritation or something more.. I am so upset at myself. I may not have protected him at all. It is almost like I forgot completely, in the moment. Again we did not have sex, but I’m worried he “rubbed up against me” so to speak which is just as bad.. I am not sure if it was underwear on or off.. help!!

I had protected sex and had just shaved, and he is asymptomatic. The next day I was tingly, and have been on and off irritated for almost 2 months. Could I have gotten it?
I guess my concern is that maybe I did have a symptoms the next day, meaning I had been contagious the night before.

Shortly after, “down there” cleared up and seemed fine.. but I’m unfortunate in that hsv2 pops up both on my butt and lower back on rare occasions as a rash. It’s maddening.

If it showed up on my butt as a rash, a day-2 days later, does that guaranTee that he may have gotten it from me, just sort of by being on top of me/rubbing? I didn’t notice any symptoms at the time. I’m just so worried

Passed** skin to skin, not padded. My ex who gave it to me, I was with 3 years. Haven’t had full on sex since.
