Hi, with so many negative tests, you are in fact negative and you tested at the correct window period of 3 months post exposure. On a side note, those with tingling is a sign of a pending outbreak but for those who already have herpes so it would not be related to a new infection. Constant tingling is not a symptom of herpes but of some other nerve issue.
I just can't comprehend never having this tingling feeling before the unprotected oral sex. And now I have it all the time.
Sometimes our mind can create issues from anxiety. Even right now if i consentrate on my genitals, i can feel some tingling also. Maybe see a nerve doctor if you feel something is a muck. Do you have hemorrhoids?
No hemorrhoids this is something more then mental, I am a healthy 30 year old with no history of health issues.
Can herpes tingling last 4-5 mths straight?
no it does not.
absolutely no reason to think you have genital herpes from this encounter. you were seen when you had your initial symptoms and the provider didn't think it was herpes related. also hsv1 genitally was your risk and typically it presents with a very "classic" initial ob that is quite painful and typically more than one lesion.
many things can cause non-stop tingling and if you've had it for 6 months now, it's not going to just go away within 72 hours of antibiotics if indeed chronic prostatitis is the cause. Continue to follow up with your urologist for your symptoms but time to move past std's as a cause.
