Could this be a sign of herpes?

Hello,  I recently noticed something and now I'm terrified it may be related to hsv.

A brief summary, I have only been with my wife and one other person. My wife and I were both clear and this second person I got with was recently. She was high risk as it was a prostitute off the street who said she had hsv2.

It's been 9 weeks and I've since gotten tested for all std except herpes and all is well. I got examined at 27 days and my doc said all looked well. I've constantly been checking myself and worried sick about herpes. I've yet to see any blisters or fluid filled sores anywhere. However, I have experienced itching burning and warm sensations in the genital area.

The encounter was protected and was brief (oral for around a minute followed by vaginal (doggy) for about 2 minutes).

My main concern now is I still have the pins and needles feeling on occasion under my shaft. I don't know if these have always been there since I've never really had reason to examine myself but I have noticed that the skin under the shaft is kind of bunched up and I notice what lookes like cracks or lines. When I take my fingers and spread apart the lines of skin, it appears to be a round spot as if a blister was there. There are about 4-6 of these, all under the shaft.

Not sure if the skin is normal and supposed to be bunched up like that when flaccid. I haven't seen any other penis's to know if it's normal lol.

At no point did these spots have obvious blisters, fluid, any sort of scab or pain. Just the itchiness.

Could these be a sign of herpes?

Also, if they could be related to herpes, would an IGG test be accurate if I took one now at 9 weeks? I may eventually get the western blot but may start off with IGG just don't know if I should now or wait.

Thank you all

Yes, those could be symptoms. My first outbreak was just a spot of broken skin. No blister,  no fluid coming out, didn’t scab over. Doing a western blot now would be pointless because they also recommend you wait 12-16 weeks from the last time of possible exposure for an accurate reading. This is the same wait time for the IGG blood test which is way easier to get than the western blot. I only had the western blot done because my numbers were in the false positive range and I never had any symptoms. I was showing barely positive on IGG but western blot confirmed it was correct. If you see any breaks in the skin you need to go the same day and get it swabbed. They can do a test that actually looks for the DNA of the virus instead of the blood tests which just show you’re body has antibodies for the virus. Some people mistake an outbreak for ingrown hairs or a pimple so I’d get anything suspicious checked out. The longer you wait the more likely you are to get a false negative on a swab test. It took me 4 months to finally produce enough antibodies to show positive on an IGG test.

Thanks, that's what has me so worried because the skin looks bunched up and kind of like a line and when I stretch the skin out it looks like a perfect round circle in each area as if a blister was there and healed. Was kind of hoping since there was no fluid or pain it was ok but now I will be sure to get checked. So they can do a swab even if no fluids are present?

I contacted my doc and planned parenthood and the soonest I could be seen is next Thursday. I doubt they'd be able to swab anything by then right? I will definitely take an IGG at 16 weeks. Do you think that result would most likely be accurate?
How long did it take your "cuts" to heal and not be noticeable? I'd say I've noticed these for about 2 weeks now and was wondering if or when they'd go away and the area would appear normal?

So having these cuts and if they are herpetic, won't necessarily mean my blood will have antibodies show up yet on a test?

As for testing, I can't be seen by anyone soon. The earliest I was able to get scheduled was next week. That will be with planned parenthood and a dermatologist. I should have my IGG test (9 weeks from exposure) by tomorrow. Are you saying if they don't swab or diagnose anything next week, I should wait to 16 weeks and take an IGG and that should give me a definite answer?
Yeah that’s probably way too long. Since no fluid was coming from mine, they didn’t get a sufficient sample. My first cut (last year) took what seems like a month to heal. I got another one a couple weeks ago, sounds like what you are talking about with stretch the skin and looking like a line, and I started meds and I was gone within 2 days. Has you’re wife been tested? Have you talked to her?
I haven't told her anything yet. We've had sex about 5 times since I was potentially exposed and she's yet to say she's had any type of issues so that is good.

Is there a certain time I can test and be a conclusive neg with IGG?

Are your lines or cuts under the shaft? Did they hurt at all?
