I posted this on your other thread, and will ask for it to be deleted so you have all your responses in one place.
Hi -
Ignore the IgM. It's an unreliable test. It's not recommended to be done on adults as it's wrong probably as often as it is right. It also doesn't differentiate between type 1 and 2, so even if you do have herpes, you may only have type 1 or type 2.
Ask for a type specific IgG blood test. That will tell you if you have type 1, type 2, neither or both. It can take time to build those antibodies, so depending on how long it's been since your most recent exposure, you may need to retest. Most people will develop them by around 6 weeks or so, but some can take up to 4 months.
We don't look at pics here - we aren't doctors, and can't diagnose. However, little pinhead spots are not herpes. Herpes is blisters. Little pinhead spots could be pearly penile papules, but those are usually found around the head of the penis, not on it. Also, look up lichen nitidus - see if that fits. If your doctor says it's normal, it's likely normal.
This is a picture of the bumps. THIS IS MY PENIS SO BEWARE.

Im no expert but I've done plenty of research. The igm test seems to be a waste of time. I recommend the herpes igG test or even better the western blot test. The igm test isn't recommend by some doctors (including mine) because of the false positives that test gives. Hope that helps alittle. Best of luck!!
