Bumps on scrotum

Hi,

I am very anxious about a large red bump that I found at the bottom of my scrotum, it is close to where my legs rub together.

A bit of background, I had sex once about 11 years ago and I had gotten a full std pal done and everything was negative. I never had any strange bumps or anything come up from that incident. Since then, I only received handjobs, which I believe is no risk for any std. The last handjob I received was about a month ago.

I noticed a bit of pain about a week and a half ago at the bottom of my scrotum where my legs chaff . Prior to the pain I did notice was a lot of sweat between my legs and it was very itchy at the time. I will be honest at that time my hygiene was not the best due to some personal stress. Now a week and half has passed since the initial pain and I noticed that the small bump that looked like a pimple has increased in size significantly and looks pink. The bump is still a bit painful, and is still one large bump. It looks like there might be three white dots on the top.

I get a lot of anxiety about these things. My understanding is that I have very very low risk of herpes if I only receive handjobs. I dont know how I got to this point but I honestly want to get my life back together and stop living with some much anxiety.

Any guidance on if this is something to be concerned about would be greatly appreciated, I just really need some assurance.

I honestly feel I know I need to do a lot of work on myself mentally and physically. Just want to go back to simpler times.

I just want to be ok.

Is it a bump on the skin or under it? A pimple is a bump under the skin, for example. If it looks like a pimple, it probably is.

Herpes is a cluster of small blisters. What you describe sounds nothing like herpes, and herpes isn't transmitted by handjobs.

Mental health is just as important as physical health. I'm not a big one for resolutions, but now is as good a time as any to start taking care of yourself. :)

Thank you so much for your help and I appreciate your response. Looks like it's growing under.

I went to a walk in and the doctor took a look at it and said it's nothing to worry about. I showed her pictures of the daily change and she said nothing to worry about.

I have a call with my family doctor shortly and I will see what their thoughts are.

I honestly hope the family doctor shares the same thoughts.

I really need to get my life together.

I'm glad you got it looked at. If the family doc agrees, let that be it.

And be kind to yourself, yeah? Therapy is a wonderful thing.
Thank you so much really appreciate you support. She didn't look at it as it was a phone appointment but she said she had agreed with the family doctor. Part of me wants to still go in and show her pictures but I honestly feel so much better.

Two doctors and your self saying nothing to be concerned about. I think this really was a wake up call to get my head on straight. Thank you again.
You're welcome. Take good care. :)
