HSV 2 low positive and equivocal question

I had unprotected sex with a woman at the end of June, she told me in august she had tested positive for herpes 61 something for HSV-1 on an igg test and 3.7 or so for HSV-2..I got tested mid August about 7 weeks after contact and everything was negative except HSV 2 which was 1.13 igg test...I got tested 3 weeks later (10 weeks since contact) and got an equivocal result of 1.02. What is the chance the first test was a false positive and what should I do now?

I was under the impression that equivocal is negative if enough time has passed. Is this true?

Low false positives are common. I would wait until after twelve weekso and get the western blot test from the University of Washington. They will send you a kit. Have a Dr draw the blood and ship it back. It's a much more thorough test.
