Yes essentially there is a zero chance of a genital HSV2 infection from oral sex from someone of unknown status.

Why, HSV2 is exceptionally rare. There is no reason to suspect that a random person is one of maybe 0.25% of the population that may have oral HSV2.

Even if the person does have oral HSV2 there is good reason to believe that with no sores present, and proper herpes sores at that, that HSV2 is infectious from the oral location.

It is time to move on now.

I do not really see the need for testing. For peace of mind you need to wait 12 weeks from the episode and then have an test for IgG antibodies type specific for HSV1 and HSV2.
