I'm afraid I've contracted hsv2

A few days after the first time that me and my partner slept together a small painful bump appeared near my vaginal opening. It seemed like a pimple and was gone within a week. I went to the clinic and the nurse told me that she didn't think it was herpes and they couldn't take a blood test at that facility. Now, 9 months later I have what appears to be small cuts around my vaginal opening. We did have rough sex (which we hadn't done before)the day before it started to hurt. It has been over a week now and it's still there, finally starting to heal. Has anyone had a similar experience? It doesn't look like any of the pictures I've seen.

Did you and your partner follow up with type specific herpes igg blood testing at all to see who has what?

Herpes rarely looks like the photos you see online. It's always best to be seen within 48 hours of symptoms for lesion cultures and exam.
