Can you get herpes from a sex toy?
If you use someones vibrator or dildo and they have herpes can you contract herpes? Does the virus die on surfaces? Can the virus be spread once it has died? If the herpes virus is on the dildo how long would it take before it could no long infect someone?
I think you need to provide more information. Was this a toy that someone else used and it had been clean and dry before you used it or a toy that a partner used on themselves and then used on you in the same session?
In standard room conditions the virus does not live off the skin. The only feasible transmission would be use of the toy during the same act with plenty of fluids present. Even this would be extremely low odds.
