HSV 1 & 2 result after 3 months of unprotected exposure pls help
I just had HSV 1 + 2 antibody Igg and Igm tested today
HSV 1 + 2 antibody IgG index value = 26.90 highly elevated and it should by <.0 90 (Reactive)
HSV 1 + 2 antibody IgM index value = 0.59 which is <.0 90 (Non Reactive)
Had HIV combo test too 4th generation which is Non reactive after 3 months.
Vdrl - Non reactive
Hep B - Non reactive
Hep C - Non reactive
Please provide the information about my HSV Tests... what does they Indicate.
And im diabetic blood sugar levels are in control

On your test results did it give separate readouts for the HSV1 and HSV 2.
The example below are my results from the doctor, both numbers fall below the cutoff therefore it is a negative result:
Component Standard Range Your Value Flag
HSV 1 IGG, EIA <0.90 0.11
HSV 2 IGG, EIA <0.90 0.44
Hsv 1 IgM Negative Negative
HSV 1 TITER REFLEX Not indicated
HSV 2 IGM, QUAL Negative Negative
HSV 2 TITER REFLEX Not indicated
Even though your index is 26.90, you need to see which type you have. It could be either. Also please do not jump to conclusions about this young woman. Given your numbers this is a virus you could have had for a long time, hence the high numbers.
If you have HSV 1, so does around 70-90% of the population. Depending on where you get you statistics. Its really common and you could have been infected as a little child.
HSV 2 1-4 people have it, therefore that is roughly 25% percent of the population.

After 90 days of -ve non reactive teat for hiv antibodies 1 and 2 p24. Ag/ab i was relaxed as i cud move on with my life but today at 95 days i have developed solid cyst at my upper back which 12-14 inches down the neck and hurts little when i touch it little and it does not move no pus nothing.

I found out yesterday i had unprotected oral sex with some who is already victim of herpes no idea 1 or 2 and protected vaginal sex 3 months back.
Done Hiv 4th geneation ELISA combo p24 test after 74 days on girl which was non reactive and after 90 days on me and it was non reactive.
1. Am i free from hiv ?
2. I caught herpes from her shud i retest or my result is conclusive and i am daiberic too ?
3. Do i need further tests as i had unprotected oral sex with some one who alredy had herpes ??
