Can I get Herpes from drinking after my friend and chewing gum after too?

So I just found out a couple of days ago that my friend has had oral herpes ever since she was a child. (The kind that causes one bump I think.) I never noticed it at all and she said that she has had breakouts many times and I've known her for at least 4 years. She has described it as looking like a pimple which I thought was odd but any ways. There were two instances 3 years ago where I made a mistake and ate her gum. She had left it on the chip bag she let me have and didn't tell me and when I was eating the chips I thought it was a crumb and  ate it and continued chewing on it for at least 10 seconds before realizing it wasn't a chip. Could I get oral herpes from that? I didn't see a breakout around that I time but I wasn't really paying attention and there was one other time where I drunk out of a drink right after her and I felt the saliva and everything but didn't really think about that time either. Could I get herpes from that? I wasn't really paying attention to her mouth around that time either but I feel like I would have seen it if she was. Please send a response. I am getting really scared and sad about this. Thank you so much for your time and answers.
