Sunday night (it is now wednesday), I had unprotected vaginal sex multiple times with a new partner. The day after (in the afternoon), I found red spots on the head of my penis (I am uncircumcised). Now it is wednesday morning and the bumps / spots have persisted and I believe a few more have appeared. A couple of them look like pimples, the others are just red spots. There are about 15 spots total on the head, underneath the foreskin. The spots are spread out and are not really clustered in any location. They are not noticeably painful. I have been diagnosed with eczema on my penis before, so my foreskin and the head of my penis are irritated fairly frequently, but not usually with spots like this. Based on my understanding of the incubation period for HSV-2, it would seem the symptoms came too soon to be Herpes, but I am concerned. Please advise. Thank you very much.
Hi sounds more like a fungal irritation. With a first time outbreak, would be 2 to 12 days not the next day. The reason being the process. The herpes is rubbed into the skin, multiplies, travels down the nerve to the base of the spine, then travels back up to cause a sore. Also they dont normally appear on the penis head but more the shaft. Do see a doctor with any penis irritations from a new partner.
