dry skin around lips or beginning of herpes?

ok so i had oral sex (giving and receiving) from a friend of mines who has many partners in her lifetime. we did not engage in vaginal sex only oral. this was on august 31 of this year. since then ive been pretty worried about if i had contracted herpes both oral and gential. my scrotum has been itching but it has not been unbearable. i have been experiencing that tingling feeling everyone has been talking about but i have yet to have any soars or lesions on my penis or scrotum. i also have been checking my lips everyday to make sure no lesions have begun to appear but the skin around my lips and even part of my lips have been dry lately more specifically on the corners of my mouth. i dont know if im freaking myself out or what but ever since i have begun to worry about this i have noticed some signs that i might have contracted herpes. i had a tiny pimple it looks like but i popped it which was below my mouth slightly. when should i get a blood test for herpes? would i have had lesions and soars by now if i would have contracted herpes? any input would be appreciated. im going to the doctor monday to see what they think.

I'm voting for your last entry - you are worried about this encounter so much that you are making the proverbial mountains out of molehills.  Just itching is more likely fungal ( aka jock itch ) than it is herpes.  Oral sex transmits the normal mouth flora to the genital area where it's not always tolerated so well and can cause fungal infections pretty commonly.

sorry one last thing. ive been really stressing about this ever since the encounter so could these symptoms just be me working myself up too much?

also, i should mention that i noticed 3 small bumps on the inside of my cheek 2 days after the encounter. i popped them on accident and they were painless. i washed my mouth out with hydrogen peroxide that night and they were gone within a day and a half.
