Can a Intra Oral Herpes outbreak be caused by a burn on roof of my mouth?

I burned the roof of my mouth a few days ago eating very hot soup and now I have a herpes outbreak in that same spot. I've had outbreaks in this spot on the roof of my mouth before. I've read online that intra oral herpes outbreaks can be caused by dental trauma at the dentist and such, but could a burn on the roof of my mouth be a traumatic event that could cause an outbreak? I'm also on suppression therapy and was curious if you could still have outbreaks while on suppression therapy? Thank you for your time.

Yes trauma can cause outbreaks and burns are high on the list. You can absolutely have outbreaks on antivirals. They only help cut down on the amount of outbreaks not eliminate them.
