Is the HSV IGM Positive result reliable?

Had unprotected oral sex with a person of unknown HSV status. No outbreaks were visible. Had an STD panel 8 days after this exposure. All tests were negative with the exception of HSV i/ii IGM test which returned positive (1.6). HSV IGG tests were also negative.  I had another panel test 23 days after exposure. Everything was negative including the HSV IGG tests. The second panel didn’t include the IGM test. I have not experienced any symptoms that are described on medical websites and forums. It has been 36 days since exposure. What are the chances the IGM test is accurate and what are my next steps? When should I get tested for HSV again?

I've always been told to ignore the IGM as it's very unreliable, I've gotten an I'm and igg before and I only even looked at the igg, just make sure you get a type specific test.
