Disclosing Genital HSV1

Hello,

So I met someone and the last time I saw him we did not use a condom.

I know this is poor choice. I have genital HSV 1 and had one reoccurrence (10/20/16) following my primary breakout (9/23/16).

How do I tell him?

We are just getting to know another. Not yet serious but having casual sex. We do like each other and a relationship is kind of blossoming but nothing is official.
I am not having sex with other people at this time.

Just be honest. The odds of you giving it to your partner are very small with protected sex. If he has oral hsv1 (cold sores) then it's all good as it would be very very rare for him to get hsv1 in another location.
