Herpes

Hey, I had sex on Friday night with a girl i met in a club and went back to hers and used protection. We had sex twice both oral and vaginal. She then woke up in the morning and told me she had herpes. Would have preferred to have known a few hours earlier! I then left and went to play football and noticed a rash appearing on the top of my thigh which look very red and some have started to form white heads on them. There are about 9 very small ones in total and they are a little tender to touch. What are the chances she has passed Herpes to me? The rash appeared around 7 hours after sex! Very worried. Going to get an appointment to be tested tomorrow but just need some advice!

Cheers in advance.

they didn't do any testing?

going wednesday to the gum clinic is way too late for accurate testing.

if this is herpes, you had it prior to this encounter. it won't show up the next day with a newly acquired infection.  I don't believe they do the type specific herpes igg blood testing at the gum clinics but you can ask.

just got back from walk-in clinic as couldn't get an appointment with GUM clinic for a few days. the nurse said after looking at the rash that it is very likely that it is herpes as i had come into contact with someone who had it and it can be passed on through skin contact. it would be fair to say that i am gutted and feel like that at the age of 22 my sex life is over for good. got to go to GUM clinic on wednesday but seemingly just for confirmation. wish i had just gone home when my mates did!

Herpes lesions won't occur that quickly. sounds more like a contact dermatitis going on than anything. follow up on it with your provider.
