Don't know what to do?

I was tested for herpes (blood) 1 year ago after my last sexual encounter and was negative. I had protected sex about 3 and a half months ago and about 4 days after I started getting a painful burning sensation in my vagina, I thought it was a yeast infection so I acquired some topical ointment to help cure it. This lasted for about a week and a half and the medication was not working, it was then that I noticed some small tear like leisions in my vaginal area. I went immediately to the doctor and she did not see anything and said there was nothing to swab, then I went to a different clinic and she said the same, yet agreed to do the swab due to my worry. This came back negative.

I was tested for all other stds, as well as yeast and BV and they all came back negative.

Around the 12 week mark I went to get a herpes IGG test (type 2 only) as the doctor recommended. This was negative as well.

Last weekend I had protected sex with a new partner 2 times, the first sex since above experience. On Tuesday I developed the same symptoms, burning and pain around vagina, red swollen vulva. Yet, this time, there appears to be pin head sized leisions on my actual clitoris under the hood. The clitoris does not hurt or itch but I do worry about these lesions. I went to a clinic yesterday and she said she did not see the leisions but did a swab test for yeast. I am going to a different clinic today as my partner wants me to try to get a swab done to see if this is really herpes, I just dont know what else it could be.

I guess my question is, is this likely to be herpes and I got the first swab done too late?//False negative on the HSV blood test. Or possible it could be HSV 1 and the blood test did not pick it up? I just dont udnerstand what would cause these symptoms 4 days after the last 2 times I have had sex. I am very distressed and worried about this I might lose my partner.

I read that sex can be a trigger for an outbreak. I got a swab done yesterday and I am convinced its hsv just because I dont know what else it could be. My previous negative tests confuse me but this is just too obscure. I want to request a valtrex perscription while waiting for results to see if it helps but i know that is not ideal.

Have you every heard of GHSV presenting like this?
Its so uncomfortable I'm just trying to find some releif.

It seems strange that these symptoms only come on after sex. That's really not how hsv works. I agree getting swabbed is the right thing to do. Have them do a pcr test of the area.
